Cute!! Our Lab loves to lie on her back in weird places, and I wonder the same thing -- how can she possibly be comfortable?!
Thanks for checking out my kitchen makeover :-) If you're handy with a saw, you could easily cut out the arched panel from a few of your cabinet doors and have pieces of glass cut to fit.
