Pinterest Daydreaming-Winter Wonderland

Now that Thanksgiving is over, Autumn feels like it's coming to a close (even though we've had a weekend of warmer weather, and the first day of winter isn't until the end of December). Technicalities, people.  It's what we did with the warmer weather-decorate the outside of our home with white icicle lights and hat tipping snowman-that has me ready for a winter wonderland.

Warm woollen mittens and hot chocolate...ain't nothing better on a cold day.

For a home that has a little bit of Christmas....

And a little bit of Chanukah...

And a mixture of both...

However you decorate or celebrate, happy wintertime to you!

I can't be the only one who busted out the lights while it's still November--how far along are you on your winter decorating?  Outside only?  Tree and menorah aglow?  Stockings hung?

Love the pics! Our tree is up but not decorated. And we don't even own lights for decorating the outside. =( But I have a few more ideas for decorating indoors.

Nothing! It's hard to get inspired in Florida, but this week we are dipping into the 60s and 50s. I may start pulling things out of the attic yet! Loved your pictures. Ann

I've got the outside decorated, tree up and decorated, mantel done, and if I could find a spare few hours could be finished.

Love the inspiration pictures!

I started before we left to travel during Thanksgiving. I like to decorate early so we have time to enjoy the decorations but also all of the fun that comes along with the holidays!

My hubby and I put lights in the windows of all our rooms, makes the house look very festive, and is not too hard to do. We plan to get the tree next week. I'm so excited.

I haven't even put up my Christmas stuff yet. I figured this weekend I'd put everything out (except the tree). Then I'll put out the tree next weekend. We have a kitten and he plays with EVERYTHING, so I figured that will cause me less grief of having to pick up the tree/ornaments.

Got your message! Sorry, I've been busy!! I've been meaning to blog, just so tired when I get home. My goal is to do a post sometimes this week! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! :D

Gotta love pinterest!!

We put our Christmas tree and decorations up today - kids have been playing Christmas music for a while now - got to get onto wrapping the presents now - looks kind of bare under the tree just now!

My husband put up the lights outside on a blue spruce we panted 15 years ago. He also put up our tree but it still has only lights on it -- kind of nice actually -- simple.

We are just so busy with our Christmas choir -- rehearsing and doing concerts that it has to be done in fits and starts. Not complaining -- this is normal for me :)

We changed out our Halloween lights for Hannukah lights. And Target has lots of fun gel cling thingys this year, so I went around randomly sticking them on things.

We have more lights to put up, mostly because we are total magpies who like sparkly things.
