sweet funky vintage

No, i'm not talking about myself (but thanks, dolls).  I'm talking about the shop Sweet Funky Vintage that carries adorable children's clothes and other handmade goodies for little ones.  Waaay back when i first started blogging in April, i won a gift certificate to their shop from A Soft Place to Land.  Since i am sans kiddies, i found the perfect item for me:  a birthday bunting banner.  Say that 5 times fast.  It was actually the only item they don't make themselves, so i had to wait for it to be in stock.  And wait.  And wait.  Luckily the owner Melissa extended my gift code so that i could get my intended banner.

If not for Melissa's excellent customer service and rapid response to emails, i would have given up on ever getting this cute decoration.  Sadly, it missed my birthday this year, but i will definitely be bringing it out for S's birthday in March.  Check out this super cute banner, you guys!

See that gnarly mess of a rug?  Cats with claws do that.  Even when you forcefully yell no.

So stinkin' cute, right?  Love the different fabrics, but mostly love that i didn't have to make this myself!  Woot to the easy way out!  What have you taken the easy way out on these days?  Or do you smarty pants' make everything?

I have learned that sometimes the easy way out is the way that I can stay sane and keep the peace in out household. I think you are swet and funky but, you are far from vintage, you just have good taste, that's all. That banner is adorable good choosing! Happy Tuesday/ Wednesday!

Girl I must take the easy way out when it comes to crafty items. This banner is very cute! Glad you finally got it!! Nice to deal with a business with great customer service. Once my grandbaby is here I will check them out!

Hey a girl has to do what a girl has to do to get the job done. Sometimes I make it, and sometimes I buy it made.

So cute and fun!! I never win anything, so I haven't taken any easy way outs lately. I just don't sleep much :-).

That's super cute! I'd think about making something similar for Hubby's bday, but he'd totally see me working on it.

I'm taking the easy way out on holiday gifts this year. I started playing around with Vistaprint a few weeks ago and now my entire family is getting a bunch of stuff from there!
