White Paint Haiku

Lindsey's blog Better After is one of my faves, and she wrote a haiku about how a reader painted her kitchen white.  Lindsey decided we should all get in on the fun and write a haiku about white paint.

So here's what i came up with in only a few minutes.  I thought it was funny, so i wanted to share it on here with my favorite people (that's you guys).  My haiku is specifically about white paint in the kitchen, which we are seeing so much of these days, right?

Ahem...

White kitchens: so in.
Watch out when you cook pasta-
tomato sauce stains.

Ok, i don't know if it actually stains, and maybe you guys are just cleaner cooks than me, but when i cook it is inevitable that something-sauce, seeds, veggie particles-get all over. I can't imagine if i had white cabinets.

 Thank you, thank you very much.  *bows and curtsies*

Ok, that was pure genius It so happens that I do have a white kitchen...and it's a real pain in the keaster? to keep clean. But it is so refreshing to walk into all the whiteness after a long, hard day of running errands. (-;

No it is not just you! Tomato sauce gets everywhere and yes it stains. But I still dream about a white kitchen....
Love your haiku!

I love it! That is sooo true - one of the reasons I don't think I could go all white!

Haha, so funny! I came over from NFF...GREAT blog!! Love it! I do not have a white kitchen...or white shirts...or white pants...for this reason. Actually, I do have white pants, but I never wear them because things like tomato sauce are attracted to me at all times.

Happy Friday!

You are spot on with your haiku. I can't go near white in the kitchen. It's not just tomato sauce, it's everything. And I don't think I'm a particularly messy cook. But maybe I'm just thinking positive! Found you via Friday Friendly Follow - and will be back.

I am not the cleanest cook either, I do have a tendency to have splatters all around me! I enjoyed finding your blog!

Love your haiku! I never understood why tomato sauces splatters so much more than lighter coloured sauces!
