The stockings were hung

Proof that my cat likes after Christmas sales as much as me...this was a clearance Target find full of goodies scented with catnip.

The inspector inspecting....

I apologize about the foot-this was happening so quick and my mothering instincts must have kicked in and told me to quick, get the camera!

A little closer inspection....

What a nut!  That's her entire head in the stocking, and i swear if she could have gotten in any further, she would have!

Mine.

And i may have gone a bit overboard for her stocking this year, too.    My best friend found it odd that Sunday has one, but she's not a pet person so you can't go by her.  I'm curious-do you buy your pets christmas gifts?  Do they have a  stocking?

Absolutely...my weenies have stockings and gifts! My old dog who died at 17...loved opening packages sooo much that we'd let her open ours...she'd rip a piece of paper off and toss it aside and rip another and toss...she loved opening packages. Dogs love Christmas!

Looks like your kitty is very much enjoying her stocking.

Our kitties have their own stocking and we bought them new catnip mice and tinkleballs and treats to go in them for Christmas. They also got gifts from my parents and from my in-laws. I'm relieved to know it's not just us. :)

I have come to grips with the fact that I am, in fact, a crazy dog lady.

While Blue doesn't typically get a specific holiday gift, it's mostly because we don't do sit down gifts.

But we might throw and attend doggie birthday parties. Whatever, DON'T JUDGE!

When I was younger, my parents used to buy treats for the animals at Christmas... they each had a little stocking! Our big dog also got a HUGE rawhide bone, and she always knew it was coming!

Since B and I moved in together, we don't do much for the pups at the holidays... but this year we bought a cute dog soap for our best friends dogs... as a gift from our dogs! Cheesey, but we thought it was cute! :)

Hugging her stocking is the best picture ever!!!! :)

And yes, both my boys have their own stocking. I put little toys and treats in them.

I was very close to getting our Leopard Gecko a stocking...but I'm not sure what I'd put in it....live crickets? :)

My pets are beyond spoiled. Saturday I'm getting the little one groomed to get both of their pictures taken with Santa. I will also be doing their Christmas shopping by placing toys on the floor and seeing which ones they like best. Hey, I don't have kids yet! Don't judge! :)

haha! So cute! Of course we spoil Kitty and give him gifts! He has a stocking and a little menorah. Once he opens his gifts from Santa, I have to show you the Hanukkah toy I got him. I'm guessing your Target probably didn't have them, but the ones around here had pet Hanukkah toys!

How cute! We usually get our cats something! I actually asked my step-mom and dad for a present that would be for the kitties! lol It's a kitty water fountain bowl (to try to encourage the littlest one to drink more). So we even roped the cats' grandparents into getting them a gift! ;)

Oh my goodness! I love the photos of her getting into her stocking and then hugging it. Oh yes Charlie has a stocking and gets kitty treats and toys in it. After all he has been a very good boy this year!

The "mine" photo is absolutely precious! Poor Pica and Biscuit don't have any stockings - they have mean parents ;)

Thanks so much for the heads up on the giveaway! I probably would have missed it otherwise :)

That's pretty funny. No pets here, but I'm sure if I did I would spoil it. :-)

My cat has his own stocking too! Love the pics...and it looks like your little kitty loves the gifts inside.

Just checking in on one of my sleepover girlies! Thank you so much for linking up. I am glad you joined the party and hope you have a Merry Christmas!!

I have a cat, and I'm not sure if I will buy her something! She doesn't like many toys, she's scared of them -- And if I try to give her catnip, she really doesn't like it, and if she sniffs it, it looks like it makes her high! So if I find something 'soft' for her, I will buy it. But I DO buy Christmas gifts for my cousin's two dogs for when I go over there for Christmas Day! Over the years, I've had three dogs, and they always bought gifts for my dog. :)
Best regards,
Gloria
P.S. Oh, so regarding your gifts for your cat? I think it's touching and cute!

Love the pics! My roommate has two cats and I haven't purchased anything for them yet, and I'm not sure if he buys gifts for them, but Lumpkin's dog, Leia, always gets a couple of Christmas gifts. She's our baby and she loves it!

Of COURSE! We pretty much bought out the Hanukkah department at Target when we brought home our puppy and The Cuties were insistant that the dog have gifts to "open" ~ far be it from me to point out she doesn't have an opposable thumb!

LOVE the possessiveness of her stocking ~ too cute!

Haha...great pictures. My husband and I sounded like parents at Walmart the other day - "He would love this stocking. It has 5 toys and its only 6 bucks" My husband, "He has a hundred and one toys, does he REALLY need another one?" Me, "but it's Christmas". I love including the pets on Christmas. Perfectly normal :)

Yes they have stockings and normally they get toys but this year we got them a joint present in the form of a new scratching post!

Nope, no presents for the four legged critters around here, but my borther's family is pretty partial to their pets. We love ours too, just not in a present/stocking kind of way.

Adorable! She loves her stocking!
Thanks for stopping by and letting me know we're not alone in giving our little fur babies Xmas presents. :)

Adorable! She looks so blissed out about the stocking in the second to last picture. I would get my little fur baby a stocking, but her favorite toys are my hair ties and tape measures so she gets gifts all the time when I leave the hair ties out. Or when I don't clean up my sewing area...

Our dogs both have stockings, definitely! Unfortunately I was a bit lax this year and didn't actually put anything in any of the stockings...
