Out with the old

Thus far, in 2011, we have:

1.  Painted the master bedroom and brought it to its final phase of looking good-ness.  Pictures to come.
2.  Swapped out the saggy bed in the guest room for one that you can plop down on without practically hitting the floor.  For free.
3.  Framed the walls and installed the plumbing for the basement half bath.
4.  Ordered a new fridge, which should be in next weekend.  SO excited for this-our fridge (that came with the house) is old and skeeves me out.  Pictures to come.
5.  S registered me for my very own URL...should i choose to buy it.  Revamping the blog is one of my goals for the year, so this was a nice gesture.  A real blog should look more professional, so photo editing, time consuming task that it will be, may be in my future.

Yep, i'm feeling rather productive these past few days.  What about you?  Get the ball rolling on those resolutions yet?

Wow girl you have been busy! I've watched several episodes of Twilight Zone with Mr ALC and let's see, made a pot of pinto beans and oh yay, I got the ornies off one of the trees, so really, not so much! Still this is the week to get the decorations down, organized and stored in the basement!

Wow! You HAVE been busy! I've been working on my "Kick the Clutter 2011" thing and am really amazed at the amount of stuff that we've already gotten out of our house. I start Weight Watchers on Tues and I'm pretty stoked about that. I also want to learn piano this year AND I too want a better looking blog. I've got a couple of books on coding and stuff and I already have a domain; just need to dive in and get going. :-)

Man, you are one busy gal. I fell like a slug now. I've started re-organizing my craft area right now while trying to cat proof it (like it's really going to work) and submitted an application to a design team, but that's about it. Hopefully I'll get my bum back into dance classes cause I sure need them. And I'm hoping to pretty up my blog. Oh, I've also done two loads of laundry since the new year!

Hope you have a great new year!

Kind of doing the slow and steady thing. Girls are back to school today, so I do have a lot of hopes for the coming week. Unfortunately I have been up since 2:30, so this day may start to wind down sooner rather than later! We'll see

Great job on all your accomplishments!

Its great to be on such a roll, rolls tend to grow and grow and grow, so if you are off to this great of a start just imagine how far you can go in the coming year if you keep it up... wow fantastic!

Happy New Year Madame Cape! Your industry is quite inspirational....so far I've harvested sunflower heads to save them from the beaks of the cockatoos, I've enrolled at college, I've inquired about dance classes - and laid the new rug, bought a new sofa and purchased new cushion covers to tie in with the new rug/sofa combo. I'm feeling good with my progress so far!

Oh my god, I feel like SUCH a slacker.

I've managed to read a bunch of super trashy books, eat all the candy we'd been given in December, and order pizza.

Although I've really been counting the new year starting for me today, so I could enjoy my little bit of time off. Dairy free for 16 hours!

You can't possibly have done so much already in 2011! It's barely started!! I just love the positive vibe at this time of year, with everyone full of enthusiasm and hope for the year ahead! It's going to be a good one, I can feel it!!

Sending you sunshine and warmth from Cairns to start your wonderful New Year!

Wow you have been productive! Me not so much but I still have the rest of the year to get stuff done!!!

Wow! That's an amazing list of accomplishments for the first 5 days of the year!! Way to go. :)

We're getting back to "house" projects instead of the crafty Christmas gifts I have been working on. Installed some lighting in our dining room, which took entirely too long, but that's about it so far!

P.S. Thanks for the comment on my niece's cape - she does look like Sherlock Holmes!!

Ha! That is way to productive for me. I have made a list of things I want to do. I did put away the Christmas decorations.

I have had a few domain names for a while now. Definitely a must.
