Nice day for a wine wedding

My little brother got engaged two weekends ago.  Yay for him and his fiance!  Right away i wondered what they would do for the overall theme of the wedding, and i can totally see them going in the wine direction.  To pinterest i went!

Congrats to them! You're going to have so much fun doing crafty things for their wedding!

My sister and I are working on the cork placecard holders for her wedding right now. I was planning on doing the cork letters for her house until she went and use them all on frames instead. You and I think alike!

I've seen people sign wine bottles or the corks for momentos! So cute. Love the initials. What a great way to use the cork!

Don't you just LOVE Pinterest? WINE would be a fabulous theme for a weeding -- love all the photos.

Congrats all around :)

Blessings!

That is so wonderful and I love the idea of a wine wedding. I can see I need to be saving my corks, love the letter "C" corked! Take a look at a website called (something like - sorry don't remember exactly) "Green Shoes weddings". My son and DIL got a lot of ideas from them. They had a vintage style wedding outside with reception in an old train station. If you want a peek, I blogged about it last September (18th and after). Weddings are so creative these days and I love how they reflect the personality of the bride and groom. Ann

Somebody has been thinking a lot about weddings (JK). :P Congrats to your brother. I'm always happy when people commit to each other like that. It is great.

This is too funny - I was just thinking that I was going to make a cork monogram!! Love that cork bouquet (but then again, I love anything wine related)!

My wedding planning days are over until it's time for my girls (hopefully, many many many many years from now)!

I love the cork wreath! I am currently in the process of collecting corks to make my own - this requires lots of wine drinking ;-)

LOVE these ideas! When I get ready for my next fette, I'm putting you on research duty! Trying to catch up from all my days away and days spent catching up. I swear the laundry wins! The basket is NEVER empty, especially with this heat. We are going through 2-3 outfits a day! Looks like you all are wet! Send some of it back our way if you have had enough! We are sooooo dry. Hugs!
