Home Sweet Gnome

Gnome on the range.  Gnome is where the heart is.  Gnome Improvement.  Gnome de plume.  Grand Slam Gnome Run.  Hmmm....

I love me some gnomes.  Not, like, the hideous ones, but the super cute kind.  I am not ashamed to say i have a plethora of garden gnomes, and they are super talented.   They do more than just garden or sit on a rock.  These guys play the guitar, and the horn, and they are well traveled.

And thanks to a sweet surprise from the boyfriend, now we can rock a house flag declaring our gnome love.

Cute right?  This got me looking for other ways to declare my interest in these little wee men.

Ca-ute.

I have a special place in my heart for the Roaming Gnome, particularly because of the role he plays on The Amazing Race.  And because he's British.  Shouldn't all gnomes have an English accent?

In compiling this list, it appears that some gnomes are creepy and downright scary.  Zombie gnomes!  Gnomes feasting on flamingos!  Why, why??!!  Just be glad you didn't have to see those.

Come on, hit me with your best gnome/home phrase!

The iphone case is my fave. Too cute!

My sister and her roommates in college has a gnome collection. I wonder what happened to it...

I love Gnomes! I have a collection of them. The big ones have their own garden area and then I have little ones in a planter on my deck. I love that Gnome wallpaper!

I have seriously been thinking about adding some gnomes to my Chrismtas list for my outdoor gardens, but then the drought came, and they weren't so pretty (the gardens), and you are right about the creep factor. I might just want to pick out my own!

Trying to get back in the swing of my blog pals. It is the second day of school for the girls, and my first morning at home alone in relative peace. It feels like it's been a long time! Hugs!

I love gnomes too... but they don't really fit into my home decor... BUT... I'm on the hunt for a vintage trailer to fix up and I think they might just go really cute in that!! Thanks for the idea!!

Another thing we have in common! Lol I love me some cute gnomes too. I only have one teeny tiny one that is in my kitchen, but when I finally redo my front & back yards, there will be some gnomes representin'!

Gnomes have had their place in my family as well...as the story goes my grandparents had a small collection of garden gnomes out on their lawn that had been in our family and a great aunt got jealous and stole the gnomes then moved down the shore. Then when my mom graduated high school she & a friend went down the shore and stole the gnomes back! No one knows what happened to them but this past mother's day we bought my mom-mom some garden gnomes as a joke!

Are you sure you're not my mother? lol! I grew up with gnomes everywhere around our home. She, too, was crazy about them! Thank you for stopping today... and for commenting about my pallet headboard! Enjoy your evening!

I saw some really cute gnome candles at Target a couple of weeks ago! They were on clearance too! There was a big candle, then a pack of 3 mini gnome candles! Perhaps your Target still has some? I'm thinking about going and getting some, they were too cute!

Stampin Up used to have a No Place Like Gnome set. I made my 25 year old son some stationary. He left me 3 crates of Gnomes after college. Bless him.
